Business Visa in Indonesia

Business visa in Indonesia can be very important for foreigners who want to do business in Indonesia. Indonesia has undergone a steady growth of 5.6% in GDP in the past few years. Due to its strategic geographical location and its immense economic potential, Indonesia has become a major destination to do business. As an open market, Indonesia opens its doors for citizens of the world to conduct their business here. But before doing so, they would need to obtain a Business Visa.

The general Business Visa is valid for 60 days and could be extended up to 2 times. It is important to note that a Business Visa will allow foreigners to conduct business talks, sell products, or discuss terms of business deal but not to generate revenue.

Requirements of Business Visa in Indonesia

The application for Business visa in Indonesia is sent to the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration (Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi). These are the documents required for a Business Visa application:

  1. Details about the applicant (Name and accommodation in Indonesia, occupation and company name, mobile number, email address, return ticket, health insurance, purpose of visit,
  2. Valid passport (photo page) of applicant, valid for 7 months at the minimum
  3. Passport cover of applicant
  4. Covid-19 vaccination certificate (complete doses)
  5. Valid, negative Covid-19 test result complete with QR code
  6. Latest bank statement of the company sponsoring the applicant’s business visa. The company must have a minimum funds of USD $10,000 or equivalent in other currencies

Procedures of Application for Business Visa in Indonesia

Our team will make the payment of Immigration fees to the authorities in accordance to the existing rate.

Immigration authorities will review the applicant’s submission, the process is expected to take at least 4 (four) working days after the payment of Immigration fees.

Should the Immigration authorities approve the application, the business visa will be issued and our team will send it to the applicant.
